Sonrise
The darkness was thick. So thick you could feel it. Death was empowered.
Despair ruled the day. Evil smiled and Hell rejoiced.
The Light had been extinguished.
His plan – so daring and carefully planned – had been thwarted. Perhaps He
wasn’t so Almighty and All-Powerful after all. The only thing left to decide was
what to do next. How can we capitalize on this incredible victory?
And then it happened…..
At first it was just a low rumble – like distant thunder. But soon there was no
denying it. Something had happened. Something big. In an instant – darkness
was scattered, death was defeated, despair was decimated, evil was dealt a
mortal blow and Hell was brought to it’s knees.
The Son came out.

The Tomb of Jesus?
Most of you have probably heard about the upcoming documentary that will claim that the tomb (and remains!) of Jesus has been discovered. Before you renounce your faith and embrace atheism, you might want to read the response from Bible Scholar Ben Witherington.

Praising Jesus in Public School
Last night my kids sang in their Elementary School Christimas Program. It was great! It was especially nice to hear several songs that openly spoke of, and glorifed, Jesus as Lord and Savior. I know that wouldn’t fly in a lot of places, but it is not a problem here in our small town.
In the picture above, my daughter is at the microphone for her speaking part. My son is in the group of boys at the left.
