She was in college, I was finishing up high school. It was a 60-something Chevy Nova. Four cylinder. Some weird automatic transmission that had to be manually shifted into "Low" to make the car move from a dead stop. If we tried to move from a dead stop with the thing in "Drive" it would just sit there and shake! But we could drive it for two weeks on $4.00 worth of gas. My first car was shared with my sister.
