This is a snow drift in front of the door at our church building. It was about 4 feet high. The guys who do our snow removal did a great job clearing the parking lot, sidewalks… and the doorways!

I’m assuming you guys cancelled worship as we did since you spent your Sunday shoveling. It was a great day to be with the kids though. Our first year in Ohio and we have the biggest blizzard on record. Interesting.
I am curious how many people showed up for worship?
Preacherman — we canceled morning services, and only had about 80 folks for the evening service (we usually have over 200 for our morning services).
Yes, thanks for giving props to the snow-removal guys: my brother-in-law, Criag, my husband, Jimmy, and Mitch. But before you think them so humble and willing to serve: THEY WERE TOTALLY HAVING FUN!!!
Jeff,
I wanted to let you know that my boys enjoyed seeing the picture. We live so far south, near the Mexico boarder that it never snows. We haven’t even gone to Abilene where are parents live and seen the snow this year. So, seeing this pictures they thought it was sooooooo cool!
That is SO cool. I have never been around a snow like this.
Did you eat snow ice cream and did you guys play in the snow?
Wish I would have been up there with you guys. We would have had a blast!
Wow, Jeff!
I can’t even BEGIN to imagine living somewhere where it gets so cold and snows so much. Even here in south Mississippi, I get cold and can’t warm up when it gets in the 50s!
Sheesh – I stay cool in the middle of the summer and leave the AC on 80 or 82 degrees to keep from being too cold!
Today is the first day of spring, so hope things are warming up for y’all!
Much love,
Dee
P. S. Please keep praying for me as I have had a hard week since being hospitalized and bedridden all last week with a major new medical/health problem that is permanent.
Thanks!!
May God’s richest blessings be yours as you reflect on the extent of His love demonstrated through the death His Son on the cross and the awesomeness of His power exhibited through the resurrection.
To God be the glory!
