I’ve been tagged by Tiffany.  So here are 12 Christmas Facts About Me…..

12.  My favorite Christmas movie is A Christmas Story.  It brings back a lot of Christmas memories for me.

11.  The best Christmas present I ever received was a fire-orange 5-speed bike I received when I was about 9 years old.

10.  I love everything about Christmas — the focus on Jesus, the excitement in my kids’ faces, the shopping, the decorations, the hustle and bustle….. everything!

9.  Our family believes in Santa Claus.  Period.

8.  We open presents on Christmas morning — with one exception: Our kids open presents from each other on Christmas Eve.

7.  I like snow on Christmas….. as long as we don’t have to travel.  If we have to travel, I want it to be dry and sunny.

6.  I still get excited on Christmas Eve and have trouble sleeping.  But now it’s because I’m excited for my kids.

5.  My favorite Christmas songs are “O Holy Night” by Barlow Girl, “Have a Holly Jolly Christmas” by Burl Ives, and “Sock It To Me Santa” by Bob Seger.

4.  I always get extra gifts for our kids, and hide them.  After they have opened everything, I will say “Hey, what’s that over there behind the couch?”  I think they’re on to me now.

3.  On Christmas morning, we wake up our kids and they wait on the stairs while we make coffee and get everything ready.

2.  I’m glad to be part of a church that actually celebrates the birth of Jesus at Christmastime (we even have Christmas lights on the fake trees on our stage).

1.  In my opinion, Christmas is “The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year!”
