We had a great week at Northwestern Ohio Christian Youth Camp. This was my second year as Director, and it went much better than last year. We had 53 campers, the weather was great, there were few bugs (because it’s been so dry), four campers were baptized, and we had no major problems. Of course, there was the incident where I had to wear a women’s bathing suit and walk the plank, but we don’t need to go into that. Adam Metz (youth minister at the Alum Creek Church) helped us out this year and did our Camp Video, and it was fantastic — over 34 minutes long! Another good result is that I think we recruited some more staff for next year.
The highlight of the week (for me) was getting to baptize my daughter Emma.

That is a priceless picture and memory!
Hey, that was the highlight of my week, too! (Seeing you in the woman’s bathing suit was pretty funny though.)
What a beautiful picture. You are a blessed man, Jeff.
How cool is that! What a wonderful, blessed, thrilling moment!
Wonderful, beautiful…..almost enough to make me forget..
but I think we need a post on the woman’s bathing suit…soon.
Awesome! Congratulations! That is one of the finer moments in life, for sure.

FANTASTIC week and a great job directing it!
Not only did this week bring three sisters and one brother into the body of Christ but the memories of all will be in our hearts forever. Thanks for a great week and many laughs! Miss it already. Next year more staff and a hundred kids.
I will never forget baptizing my oldest! I later got to witness him baptizing his younger brother. The Supper sure seemed more meaningful after each of those events.
CONGRATS!

Fantastic, wonderful, marvelous! You and she will always be bonded over this moment. God bless you both.
