Written by As you have undoubtedly heard, the Dixie Chicks won several awards last night at the Grammy Awards. It should be no surprise that the left-leaning music industry would honor those who stauchly oppose President Bush.

Awards are nice for showing off when you go to your 30 year class reunion and nobody remembers you, but money talks and the Dixie Chicks had 14 cities removed from their tour last year and a few other cities got pushed back as well (presumably to increase chance of higher ticket numbers). Not that I particulary give a rat’s butt about the Dixie Chicks, I was just pointing that out to make your day a little brighter.
I think the most disturbing thing about them at the Grammys was her statement that “America has spoken through the…” award show. Not really. Her peers spoke, and they don’t live in the same world I live in.
