I’m sitting here in a rather trendy coffee house in Ashland, Ohio (yes, Ashland has a trendy coffee house) drinking a cup of Java and trying to work on a sermon on my laptop. There is an elderly lady playing the piano and I just noticed that she is playing old hymns (she just finished playing “O Happy Day”). It just struck me as strange to hear these songs in a place like this. But I like it. I think I’ll stay longer than I planned.
Just wanted to share. OK. Back to work.

Jeff,
Oh how I wish my town had a coffee shop!
