Written by Don’t buy into the “message” behind the movie “The Day After Tomorrow.” According to a scientist who wrote an op-ed piece in USA Today (read it here), the “science” in the film is a bunch of hooey. I’ve always been very hesitant to buy into the latest threat from the Chicken Little environmentalists. When I was a kid (in the 70′s) it was the population explosion and then the ice age. Now it is global warming. I wonder what the threat du jour will be 20 years from now…..
If Jesus hasn’t returned by then it will probably be that overuse of the Internet airwaves is choking off the electricity being conducted in the air causing a severe cool down in the earth’s atmosphere thereby freezing the equator while radiating the polar ice caps rendering a melt off and another flood of monolithic proportions.
